Faraday Okoro is a New York City based Nigerian American filmmaker, who's focused on directing dramatic film and television projects, as well as elevated genre-based work. He attended Howard University and NYU Graduate Film School. In 2017, he received $1 million from AT&T to direct his debut feature film, Nigerian Prince (2018), which was Executive Produced by Spike Lee and distributed theatrically by Vertical Entertainment and is currently streaming on Netflix. Additionally, his work has screened at major film festivals, including the Tribeca Film Festival, LA Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival, Chicago International Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, and more. Faraday was included in MovieMaker Magazine’s inaugural 25 Screenwriters to Watch. Through 2020 and 2022, he participated in the HBO Access TV Directing Program and has shadowed on the HBO Max mini-series, The Staircase (2022). Currently, Faraday is attached to direct There is Also Joy for Mandalay Pictures.

In 2023, Faraday shadowed director Carl Seaton on the Amazon series Cross and director Criag Zobel on the HBO Max mini-series The Penguin (aka Boss).
